Hi. Welcome.

This is an opportunity that’s open to all former TPAP Faculty Members and Bubby Fellows. We’re offering grants of between $400-$4000.

The grant will support specific artistic projects or professional development goals that require funding – such as training, production, equipment, studio rental, or travel for research purposes.

Proposals should address how this might help advance your artistry or career, and/or those of other artists and the community at large.

It's important to note that funds can’t be granted as stipend or salary for yourself; all money must be spent on project necessity. It’s also worth noting that we may not be able to always provide the full requested amount. Partial grants are possible. We’ll do our best.

Proposals will be evaluated on a rolling basis and considered through May 30, 2026 or until all available funds are distributed. All money received must be disbursed, with final reporting received by August 15th, 2026.

Multiple faculty members may apply for funding on the same project if they are teaming up on something, with each member remaining eligible for the funding amount of $400-$4000.

Each individual may receive one grant. If an application is not accepted, a new submission for a different project is welcome.

Selection Criteria

Applications will be evaluated based on –

  • Project Feasibility: A well-thought-out plan and clear use of grant funds.
  • Impact: The potential enhancement on the artist’s life and career, or on the greater community.
  • Seniority: Priority will be given to those who logged more TPAP summers – and winter audition responsibilities.
  • Additionally, projects that benefit/include the TPAP community are encouraged, if it’s at all possible, such as using alumni as collaborators, etc. This is not essential.

Reporting Requirements

Grant recipients will be asked to submit a mid-way report and/or a final report detailing how the funds were used and the outcomes of their artistic project, including documentation of the work. Deadline will be dependent on project dates. All money received must be disbursed with final reporting received by August 15th, 2026. Projects may continue past this date as long as the TPAP portion of funds have been exhausted.

Note that all awards will be reported as 1099 income to the grant recipient, so candidates are responsible for all tax reporting on funds received.
By submitting an application and accepting funds, the applicant/recipient agrees that TPAP and its staff, etc. shall have no liability - financial or otherwise - to the applicant/recipient or participants in their project, other than to disburse approved funds.
