Administrative Internship

The Performing Arts Project will select a maximum of five outstanding candidates per intensive to serve as administrative interns. Working in The Performing Arts Project administration is a unique and valuable experience because it is like working at a school, production office, casting office, and artist management office all at the same time. Our administrative staff is small and because of this, our interns are an integral part of our successful team.

As an administrative intern, you will gain training in the unique skills necessary to run this intensive program. You will also have the opportunity to meet and assist some of today’s most respected theater and film professionals. Interns gain experience in the areas of nonprofit and arts management including scheduling, marketing, development, public relations, casting, student and parent relations, show production, student activities, artist support, and more.

The Performing Arts Project is happy to work with your school to help you receive academic credit for your administrative internship. We will ensure that the specifics of the job fit the requirements of your programs for college credit, independent study, work study, and/or community service.

The Performing Arts Project is a nonprofit organization and is not able to offer compensation. We do, however, offer room and board to all out-of-town interns.
